I Am So Proud of Her

I am talking about my daughter. Yesterday, I picked up the report from her school. This is the last report for this year. And her result is amazing. She is mastering for almost all the things that she learned in her class. The teachers even said that they are blessed that they got the most talented student in her class room

Then my husband started to ask if it is possible that she can pass one class and follow the higher class since my husband understand and know for sure that my daughter can do that. The teacher said academically, my daughter will be able to do that. And they are really sure about it. But forsocial effect on her personality, they were not sure about it since my daughter will be in the group of student with 7 - 8 years old ages. Meanwhile, my daughter will just turn to 6 when she will start her new class.

So my husband discuss with the principal of the school yesterday. But I was not really happy with the reaction of the principal. She said that basically, she is not the fans of that kind of maneuver. She said that she is worried for the future, if my daughter will be put in the class with older kids. And later if the friends are already in puberty, my daughter probably will have difficulty problem. I don't think it's a good reason for that. She even don't know if we will be still in this country when the time come. We are moving a lot from one country to another.

I like the old school from my daughter before. That school is short of an open school. My daughter can choose whenever she think that the teacher in the class is teaching the lesson which is too easy for her, she can go to another class for older student. And when she want to play with her friends with the same ages, she still can do that.
